Job Description
About Watch The Word
Watch The Word is building one of the most ambitious Bible technology projects ever attempted — a platform that blends Scripture, cinematic storytelling, artificial intelligence, visual media, church outreach, and digital evangelism to help people engage with God's Word in a completely new way.
About the Role
This is a unique internship offering direct access to the Founder and leadership team. As Executive Assistant Intern, you'll work alongside the Founder on a wide range of projects spanning business development, investor relations, church outreach, marketing, operations, technology, event planning, and strategic growth.
Rather than focusing on a single specialty, you'll gain exposure across multiple departments and learn how a startup operates from the inside — often participating in real business decisions, meetings, presentations, and special projects. It's one of the broadest learning opportunities at Watch The Word, with significant potential to grow into a long-term leadership or paid role as the company expands.
What You'll Do
- Assist the Founder with day-to-day operations
- Coordinate meetings and schedules
- Help with email communications and follow-ups
- Organize documents, presentations, and reports
- Participate in strategic planning discussions
- Support investor relations and church/ministry outreach
- Assist with event planning and coordination
- Manage special projects as assigned
- Research organizations, churches, ministries, and potential partners
- Maintain records, databases, and internal communications
- Serve as a liaison between departments when needed
What We're Looking For
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Professional written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail and strong writing/grammar skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar tools
- A positive, teachable attitude and professional conduct in meetings
Experience is preferred but not required
— we're happy to train the right candidate. Students, recent graduates, and career changers are all encouraged to apply.
What You'll Gain
- Direct mentorship from the Founder
- Exposure to executive-level decision making
- Participation in leadership meetings when appropriate
- Relationships with investors, pastors, ministry leaders, and business owners
- Professional reference letter and expanded recommendation opportunities
- Hands-on training, including free training on AI tools and modern workflows
- Access to professional software and tools, provided by the company
- Potential college internship credit (where applicable)
- Lifetime Steward Membership to the Watch The Word platform
- Flexible scheduling and remote work
Before applying, we encourage you to visit www.watchtheword.com to learn about the project. We're looking for someone who genuinely connects with our mission and vision.
