Job Description
The SAM School is seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support the Executive Director and assist with daily school operations. This position is primarily on-site during the school year, with the possibility of remote work when school is not in session.
Responsibilities include managing schedules and administrative tasks, coordinating projects and paperwork, handling school communications, supporting events, and helping oversee operational requirements such as government forms, immunization surveys, bussing schedules, and weekly bulk snack ordering.
This role also manages key responsibilities related to the NYSED breakfast and lunch program, including attendance tracking, meal reimbursements, and compliance reporting.
The Executive Assistant works closely with school leadership and administrative staff to help ensure the school runs smoothly and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Administrative or school operations experience preferred
- Proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and office software
This is a dynamic role for someone who enjoys problem-solving, collaboration, and supporting a school community.
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
