VIRTUAL ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION

Exquisite Virtual Assistance (EVA) is a niche virtual assistance agency that partners with small business owners to provide high-level administrative, operations, marketing, and strategy support. We are seeking exceptional, self-motivated, and adaptable virtual assistants to join our founding team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate outstanding communication skills and possess a solid background in virtual office management. This role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail in all client interactions. This is a fully remote position, and applicants must have their own laptops. This is a 1099 contractor role. Applicants must be based in the U.S.

Job Responsibilities

Client work is highly individualized and varies depending on each client’s unique needs. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:

  • Managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings
  • Handling email and inbox organization
  • Performing data entry and maintaining databases with accuracy
  • Conducting internet research and compiling findings
  • Performing research, cold outreach and/or lead follow-up
  • Creating and formatting documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • Managing social media accounts and scheduling content
  • Providing customer support via email, chat, or phone with professionalism
  • Handling invoicing, billing, or basic bookkeeping tasks
  • Maintaining organized filing systems and digital records
  • Proofreading documents for clarity and correctness
  • Communicating professionally with clients and adapting to evolving priorities

Average hours start at 2 per week and have potential to grow to 20 hours per week. The schedule is flexible and largely weekday-based, with most project turnaround times being 1-2 days.Virtual Assistant Qualifications / Skills:

  • Strong background in high-level administrative or operations roles, preferably remote
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to diverse client needs
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Skilled in project and process management, meeting deadlines while managing multiple priorities
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong customer service mindset with a professional demeanor and friendly communication style
  • Technically savvy (Google Workspace and Microsoft Office) and ability to learn new tools
  • Comfortable collaborating with teams to improve workflows and boost efficiency
  • Clerical experience with a focus on data entry accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Access to a dedicated home office setup (quiet space, computer with webcam, MS Office, reliable high-speed internet, and smartphone with email capabilities)
  • Available Mon-Fri during business hours to respond to potential internal communications or project offers.

Bonus Qualifications (Nice to Have)

training in marketing or customer service, bachelor’s degree, PMP, experience working with culturally diverse teams, experience supporting C-level executives or working as a personal assistant, familiarity with CRM/productivity tools. .
