PART-TIME BENEFITS OPERATIONS ASSISTANT (Claims, Enrollment, Client Service)
Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Benefits Operations Assistant to support our insurance agency with claims follow-up, enrollment management, and client service tasks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys accuracy, organization, and working behind the scenes to keep client accounts running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities • Check claim status through carrier portals and document updates • Assist with claims follow-up, discrepancies, and escalations • Manage member enrollments, terms, and eligibility updates in our enrollment system • Maintain accurate client records and data entry • Communicate with carriers to obtain claim or enrollment information • Support the agency owner with administrative tasks as needed • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards
Qualifications • Experience in health, life, or benefits insurance preferred • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Comfortable navigating carrier portals and online systems • Excellent communication and follow-up skills • Ability to work independently and manage time well • Reliable, organized, and comfortable with repetitive tasks
Hours & Pay • 10–20 hours per week • Flexible schedule • $22–$25/hr depending on experience

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
