Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and execution-focused Chief of Staff to support executive leadership across a growing healthcare and dental education organization.
This individual will serve as a trusted operational partner, helping translate leadership priorities into clear plans, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, tracking deliverables, and ensuring projects move forward efficiently. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities, and communicating with senior leaders, faculty, clinical teams, vendors, and external partners.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can think strategically while remaining closely involved in execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Support executive leadership with strategic planning, prioritization, and follow-through.
- Coordinate major organizational, operational, and administrative initiatives.
- Track deadlines, decisions, responsibilities, and project progress across multiple teams.
- Prepare meeting agendas, executive summaries, presentations, reports, and follow-up communications.
- Facilitate communication between leadership, department heads, clinical teams, administrative staff, and external partners.
- Identify operational gaps and develop practical systems to improve accountability and efficiency.
- Assist with budgeting, staffing initiatives, vendor coordination, contracts, and organizational planning.
- Monitor key performance indicators and provide leadership with clear, actionable updates.
- Help manage special projects from initial concept through implementation.
- Anticipate leadership needs, resolve obstacles, and ensure important priorities do not lose momentum.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Business Administration required.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- At least three years of experience in operations, project management, consulting, healthcare administration, executive support, or a comparable leadership role.
- Strong project-management and organizational skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication.
- Ability to independently manage multiple complex priorities and deadlines.
- Strong judgment, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- High level of comfort working with executives and senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, project-management platforms, and virtual collaboration tools.
- Ability to work effectively and remain highly responsive in a fully remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within healthcare, dental services, higher education, residency education, or a rapidly growing organization.
- Experience supporting a founder, CEO, executive director, or senior leadership team.
- Familiarity with budgeting, human resources, compliance, vendor management, and organizational operations.
- Demonstrated ability to build processes and establish structure in an evolving environment.
Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will be resourceful, dependable, highly accountable, and comfortable operating with limited supervision. This individual should be able to move seamlessly between strategic conversations and detailed operational work. They must be skilled at bringing structure to complex initiatives, communicating diplomatically, and ensuring commitments are completed.
Compensation and Benefits
- $80,000 annual salary

Work Schedule
This is a full-time remote position. Candidates must be available during standard Central Time business hours and occasionally outside regular hours when organizational priorities require additional support.
